The most frequently asked questions about our rental compressors
How fast can a rental compressor be delivered?
Rental compressors that are available from stock are delivered within 24 hours of receipt of the contract.
Is delivery included in the rental price of a rental compressor?
Delivery is charged separately and is not included in the rental price.
How can the rental compressors be loaded and moved?
Our rental compressors are mounted on a base frame that has both integrated forklift pockets and lifting eyes. This makes them easy to load, move and set up.
An exception to this is the container solution, for which special requirements apply.
Who puts the rental compressor into operation?
For existing customers who have been certified, trained and instructed by us, the rental compressor can be commissioned by the customer.
For new customers, start-up is carried out by service technicians from our Kiel site or our worldwide partner network. Commissioning is not included in the rental costs and is invoiced separately.
Products and accessories
Does Sauer Compressors supply hoses or piping?
Our rental portfolio currently only includes compressors, compressed air and gas treatment systems such as adsorption dryers and filter units.
Hoses and pipe connections are not part of our rental offer.
Is oil supplied for operating the rental compressor?
Yes, we provide you with high-quality, high-performance oils that are tailored to the respective rental compressor - for refilling during the rental period.
Does Sauer Compressors also rent out screw compressors?
Our current rental portfolio consists exclusively of oil-lubricated piston compressors for compressing air, nitrogen and helium.
We do not currently offer screw compressors for rental.
Contract modalities and billing
How is the rental period billed?
Invoicing is usually carried out on a monthly basis. On request, the entire rental period can be invoiced upfront.
The rental period ends on the day on which the rental compressor is returned to our storage facility.
What happens if the rental compressor breaks down?
In the unlikely event of a breakdown, our service technicians and our global partner network will be on hand quickly.
Repair and maintenance costs are included in the rental price.
Can the rental compressor also be purchased?
A purchase of the rental compressor is possible under certain conditions.
Alternatively, we are happy to offer you a new compressor with comparable features at attractive conditions.
