Technical advantages of HAUG CO2 compressors

Compressors from the HAUG product line are ideally suited for many CO2 applications thanks to their oil-free, dry-running, and gas-tight design:

CO2 fortification in breweries and other beverage industries
Solvents in a supercritical state above 60 bar in the food and pharmaceutical industries, for example to remove caffeine from tea or coffee.
Natural refrigerant for heat pumps. This application requires relatively high pressures of over 100 bar.
Storage of excess electrical energy in the form of natural gas, which is synthetically produced from carbon dioxide and hydrogen. The carbon dioxide can come from a biogas processing plant, for example, and the hydrogen from an electrolysis plant. The synthetically produced methane can then be stored in the natural gas grid.
