Sauer Žandov supports secondary school team
From the district town in the Liberec region to the largest city in Nevada - this was the journey of the Pink Hawk student team from the Secondary Technical School in Česká Lípa, Czechia.
They participated in the global finals of the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix in Las Vegas, USA, where students from around the world showcased their skills in building model cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
Through the qualifying race, the Pink Hawk team successfully fought its way to the finals, where it placed a sensational 8th place and thus became the best of the four Czech teams that competed in the event.
Preparing for the hydrogen formula races was preceded by long months of preparation – and among other things, the students first had to assemble the car themselves.
